Erin Amoroso, APRN, is a dedicated healthcare professional with a passion for cardiology and a wealth of experience in critical care nursing. With a career spanning over a decade, Erin has honed her skills in cardiovascular and interventional cardiology, demonstrating a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Erin began her journey in healthcare by earning her Associate of Science in Nursing from the State College of Florida in 2010. She quickly progressed in her education, obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2016 and completing her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in February 2021.

Throughout her nursing career, Erin has held various clinical and leadership roles, including positions at prominent healthcare institutions such as Ocala Regional Medical Center and Venice Regional Bayfront Health. As a charge nurse and preceptor in the cardiovascular intensive care unit (CV ICU), Erin provided expert care to patients recovering from cardiothoracic and vascular surgical procedures, including valve replacements, coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), and peripheral vascular interventions.

Erin’s clinical experience extends beyond critical care nursing to include rotations in interventional cardiology and hospice care. During her preceptorships, she gained valuable experience managing acute cardiovascular issues, providing end-of-life care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

In addition to her clinical work, Erin has served as a mentor and leader within her healthcare organizations, overseeing staff, making patient assignments, and contributing to unit management and bed allocation.

Driven by her commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth, Erin continues to pursue opportunities to advance her practice. As an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner, she aspires to specialize in interventional cardiology, leveraging her extensive clinical experience to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to patients with cardiovascular conditions.
