Bridget Anderson, MS, FNP-BC

Bridget Anderson is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in cardiology, emergency medicine, and critical care. She earned her Post-Master’s in Acute Care Nurse Practice from Jacksonville University, and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida, where she completed the Family Health Nurse Practitioner Program. Bridget also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Central Florida Community College.

Before joining the Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida, Bridget worked in several high-acuity settings, including the Emergency Department at West Marion Community Hospital and the Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit at UF Health Shands Hospital. Her experience managing complex and critically ill patients has equipped her with extensive clinical expertise in cardiovascular and neurological care.

At the Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida, Bridget provides comprehensive cardiac care, including the management of hypertension, heart failure, and arrhythmias. She works closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving long-term heart health.

Bridget is passionate about patient education and preventive care, empowering her patients to take an active role in managing their cardiovascular health. Outside of her clinical work, she has served as a marathon medical volunteer, Heart Walk team leader, and community health advocate through local outreach events.
