    Professional Background
    Dr. Mokhtar Radwan is a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist with advanced training in internal medicine, general cardiology, and cardiovascular interventions. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University, followed by residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, Florida. He went on to complete his General Cardiology Fellowship at Palmetto General Hospital and his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Bayonet Point HCA Hospital before joining the Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida.

    Dr. Radwan specializes in advanced interventional and structural heart procedures, including coronary and peripheral interventions, intravascular imaging, transcatheter valve therapies (TAVR, MitraClip), endovascular aneurysm repair, and thrombectomy for pulmonary embolism and deep vein thrombosis.

    Fluent in English and Arabic, and conversational in Spanish, Dr. Radwan is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for patients from diverse backgrounds. He is passionate about advancing cardiovascular health through innovation, multidisciplinary collaboration, and patient education.
