Jayanth Koneru, MD, FACC

Dr. Jayanth Koneru, MD, FACC, is a highly skilled cardiologist with a diverse educational background and extensive research experience. He currently practices at the Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida, where he has been providing exceptional cardiac care since 2015.

Dr. Koneru’s educational journey began at Rangaraya Medical College in India, where he earned his M.B., B.S. degree in 2005. He then pursued various internships, residencies, and fellowships in prestigious institutions across the United States, including Seton Hall University, University of Alabama, and Henry Ford Hospital.

Throughout his career, Dr. Koneru has been actively involved in research, with numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and abstracts to his name. His research interests include coronary artery disease, echocardiography, and cardiovascular outcomes.

In addition to his clinical and research work, Dr. Koneru is committed to volunteerism, having participated in various health camps and charitable initiatives aimed at improving public health.

Dr. Koneru holds several certifications and licenses, including Basic Life Support Provider, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider, and licensure in Michigan and Florida. He is also affiliated with professional organizations such as the American College of Physicians and the Michigan State Medical Society.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Koneru is multilingual, fluent in English and Telugu, and enjoys playing basketball in his free time. His dedication to patient care, research excellence, and community service make him a valued member of the medical community.
