Trevor Baggs, MSN, APRN
Trevor Baggs, MSN, APRN, is an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s degree, which he completed Summa Cum Laude in June 2025. He has a strong clinical background in emergency medicine and experience working in fast-paced, high-acuity environments alongside interdisciplinary care teams.
Trevor currently practices at the Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida, where he applies his clinical training and emergency care experience to support high-quality, patient-focused care. His role emphasizes careful assessment, collaboration, and attention to detail in complex clinical settings.
Prior to joining CVI, Trevor worked as an Emergency Department Nurse at AdventHealth Ocala. In this role, he assessed complex clinical situations, provided lifesaving care, and educated patients on the management of acute and chronic medical conditions while working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Before entering nursing, Trevor served as a Firefighter/EMT with Marion County Fire Rescue, providing medical care in hazardous conditions. He was appointed Class Leader for his New Hire Orientation class and received the Top Gun Award for outstanding performance. He also served as a Second Class Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy, where he was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for exceptional performance.
